"Are you a faint-at-heart person? Are you easily offended? Are you a The Black Eyed Peas fan? Are you a member of The Black Eyed Peas? Then do not listen to this album. Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles' "Vulgar Display of Power" is a bomb of politically incorrect humor metal which takes the piss out on virtually everyone and anything ranging from silly poop and perverted sex humor to humor that pokes fun at serious and possibly taboo topics like rape, mental retardation, and homeless people. A lot of people will probably be offended by this release, but you have to remember - it is just a joke. Personally, I think that there are a lot of funny moments on this album, although large quantities of the jokes are also pretty stupid and juvenile. The music is a blend of traditional metal and punk-oriented crossover thrash with parodies on other genres, too. I tend to prefer the more aggressive thrashy crossover tracks to the ones that draw on traditional metal, because the raw and sloppy production suits it better. Still, there is a very hilarious Iron Maiden spoof in "The Oder of the Floater", and I love all the below-the-belt punches delivered at The Black Eyed Peas on this album - especially, their spoofing of 'I Gotta Feeling'.
